Summer is made for lovers. And vow renewals.
Joseph contacted me in early June to tell me about this event he was hosting by the Tennessee River in Crump, Tennessee on 4th of July. Turns out, this little party was actually a surprise vow renewal ceremony for his wife. I could not contain my excitement!
30 years married and these two have never looked back. Joseph and Dayna have been together for 35 years and are looking to move to Tennessee. So naturally, Joseph wanted to host a vow renewal ceremony by the Tennessee River. With screwdriver fountains and live music, the pair pulled off the most fun 4th of July celebration I’ve had the chance to attend. And the honor of capturing!
Firecrackers and Wedding Cake
When the 4th of July came around, we packed up our gear and headed towards the river. As we arrive, were greeted by this gorgeous, rustic arbor and pillars perfectly framing the flowing river behind it. Emotional vows and intimate moments were exchanged and then.. the party began!
Jake and I had so much fun just watching this group have such a great time. I have to say, the screwdriver fountain was a first for us! I can’t believe I didn’t think about it first! As the night went one, we captured all the sweet little moments of friends interacting, kids playing, and the one of the best fireworks shows we’ve ever seen.
